- Acted as fairness adviser in the prequalification of contractors to build a specialized post-secondary building value >$20M
- Wrote request for expressions of interest for child care services to take up tenancy and provide services to infant to school age children;
- Wrote furnishings supply request for a new elementary school, wrote the evaluation tool and assisted the evaluation team;
- Wrote requests to supply student transportation services over land and water and evaluation tools for supplier selection;
- Wrote request to supply new core and edge switches for a large institution, managed the entire process including drafting the evaluation tool and chairing evaluation consensus meetings, vendor presentations and gave debriefings to proponents on request;
- Wrote several requests and evaluation tools for facilities infrastructure, equipment and services on behalf of several clients;
- Wrote request and evaluation process for the supply of a tool to manage web content for a post-secondary institution;
- Wrote requests to supply classroom and office furnishings, stationary tools for carpentry, metalwork, automotive and electronic shops, received and evaluated responses, recommended award and debriefed respondents;
- Wrote RFP and assisted with vendor selection for Data Co-location services;
- Wrote RFP for School District Administration offices, analyzed responses, made recommendation for award and debriefed proponents;
- Wrote RFP for municipal park planning;
- Drafted Tender to furnish a new high school, received and analyzed responses, recommended award and provided debriefing to respondents;
- Drafted RFP, analyzed responses and recommended award to supply classroom furnishings to a new university building;

As Purchasing Manager for a Post Secondary Institution:
- Wrote and recommended revised procurement policies and procedures, now adopted by the institution;
- Improved the procurement business process through the development of web based purchasing systems and implementation of a purchasing card process;
- Managed and/or wrote Request for Proposals for complex services including Design-Build Construction, Prime Consultant Services, Telecommunications services and equipment, Janitorial and other services;
- Led the procurement of Employee Assistance services and Stationery system contracts on behalf of several public organizations.
- Wrote RFP's for the procurement of major acquisitions such as Computers and related technology equipment, Software, Audio-Visual equipment and installation services, Furnishings including office system furnishings and institutional residential furnishings;
- Contract manager of telecommunication voice services. Implemented a new dialing plan for 1100 users, and working with the contractor, decentralized and improved voice communications management administration.
- As Registrar for the BC Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada:
- Developed and implemented policy and procedures to ensure the quality assurance of accredited members.
- As General Manager of Retail General Merchandise and Petroleum Stores:
- Executive responsibility for all operations management including: policy and procedures, reporting and control systems, product selection, inventory control and store merchandising.
