Reviewing Procurement Policies and Procedures

Posted 12/7/2017

In context of implementation of new trade treaties and the BC Auditor General for Local Government reports, many organizations are reviewing procurement policies and procedures.

This graphic illustrates issues that should be considered in those reviews.

Authority is Delegated;

Value is Total Cost of Ownership + Service + Quality;

Ethics, Transparency and more are mandated by Treaties and Laws;

Economic Development is a continuing challenge yet a viable goal;

Responsibilities define us;

We are all accountable for our actions or lack thereof.

Very best wishes of this Christmas and Holiday Season.
